I only gave this a 3 star rating because this foundation doesn't work any better for me than what I am currently using (Revlon Colorstay in Caramel). Overall I like this foundation and would recommend it to people that have oily skin. #MAC MATCHMASTER FOUNDATION 1.5 EQUAL TO ATUDIO FIC POWDER SKIN#My skin tends to get oily throughout the day and this keeps the oil at bay. And the SPF in it does not give you that awful gray cast look in photos. #MAC MATCHMASTER FOUNDATION 1.5 EQUAL TO ATUDIO FIC POWDER MAC#So most of the MAC foundations do not look good on me. My skintone is mostly nuetral but has a slight yellow undertone. What I like best is that it does not oxidize and turn too red, orange, or yellow. Its light enough to not feel like you have anything on but moderate enough to cover your small imperfections. This does look alot like your skin but better. I guess the technology of the translucent powders adjusted to my skintone and matched up really nicely. Then I tried in on my face and blended it out really well. I went with the 7.5 got it home and swatched in on my hand and it appeared really dark so I thought about exchanging it for th 7.0. I had a hard time choosing between that and the 7.0 inside of the store. I went back and purchased the Matchmaster in 7.5. I liked the finish but the color just looked awful so I returned it. I thought I liked it until it oxidized after wearing it for about an hour or two. #MAC MATCHMASTER FOUNDATION 1.5 EQUAL TO ATUDIO FIC POWDER PRO#I bought the Pro Longwear first in I think NC 50. I really liked that foundation outside of the slight glittery finish to it. I recently bought this foundation because my Revlon Photoready ran out. Those still in their packaging and closed are protected from contaminants that may be harmful to the user over time. Note: Expiration dates only apply to cosmetics that have been opened and exposed to air. Also make sure to keep your makeup in a cool, dry place during the summer! If at any time a cosmetic item you are using begins to smell or look weird/discolored definitely discontinue use of it immediately. Please keep a couple of things in mind when using these shelf life estimates. Even if they get too thick you can always buy some paint thinner, thin them out and keep using them.Īs you can see from the list above powder products last much longer than cream products, so if you love buying makeup, but don't currently have a money tree in your backyard definitely focus on buying more powder products and not as many cream products. Nail Polish: Nail polishes can last a long time (5+ years).Pencil eyeliners can last up to three years. Eyeliner: Liquid eyeliners last 6 months to a year.Foundation: Liquid foundation and foundation with SPF in it usually only lasts a year. Also, remember never to share your mascara! When applying mascara don't pump the brush, if you do the air along with bacteria will be pushed down into the tube which will not only pollute the mascara, but also dry it out. I recommend not using them straight out of the jars (so that bacteria doesn't get trapped in the main jars). Pigments: These can last for 5+ years depending on how you use them.Lipsticks and Lipglosses: 1 year with regular usage. If your MAC items do not have an expiration date on them or you simply can't find the expiration date don't worry! I have included a list of (it's impossible to give precise numbers) general shelf life estimates for each general MAC item:
